Next season, four new head coaches will join the Jr. Amerks, including Mike Ferreri (9U AA), Aaron Utberg (9U AAA), Nick2021-22 Season Travel Coaches and Tryouts Peirandri (14U AA), and Brad Wheeler (16U AAA)—bringing significant high school, college and juniors coaching experience to our Jr. Amerks teams.

In addition, several returning coaches will continue to lead our Jr. Amerks AAA (Tier I) teams in the 2021-22 season, including Stephen Gionta, Dave Maksymiu, Scott McDonald, Francois Methot, Nathan Paetsch and Chris Schultz. 

Tryouts and evaluations for 8U-12U AAA, AA and House teams will take place between April 27 and May 4. Tryouts and evaluations for 13U-18U AAA, AA and House teams will take place between May 5 and May 7. Registration will open one week prior to the first tryout date listed for each birth year.

The Jr. Amerks are committed to maximizing the development of every player who steps on the ice, and that starts with the coaches who lead our teams. We’re thrilled to have such a talented and experienced group of coaches working with our kids next season.
