Registration Now Open for 2021-22 Season Travel Tryouts and House Evaluations

The Jr. Amerks have opened registration for 2021-22 season travel team tryouts (2009-2014 birth years only) and house evaluations (10U-12U program ) with the following  2009-2012 birth years.

In the 2021-22 season, the Jr. Amerks will field AAA and AA teams at all age levels. New for next season, in addition to the 8U mite red team, the Jr. Amerks are adding a 7U mite red team for competitive players in the 2014 birth year. The Jr. Amerks will also introduce a Girls Program in the 2021-22 season, fielding Tier I travel teams for girls of all ages.

Registration for travel  is currently open for 2009-2014 birth years only. Tryouts will take place April 27 through May 2 at Rochester Ice Center. Tryout registration for 2008 and older birth years will open on April 28. View the full Tryout Schedule.

 

2021-22 Season House Program Registration

Registration for Jr. Amerks House teams is now open for ages with birth year for 2009-2012 for the 10U and 12U program. House registration for 2008 and older birth years for the 14U and 18U programs will open on April 28. House teams will compete in the Empire Amateur Hockey Conference, with red teams participating in the Snowbelt Thruway Series. House team evaluations for 10U-12U will take place May 3-4, and evaluations for 14U-18U teams will take place May 11-12. House evaluations will be held at Rochester Ice Center. View the full Tryout Schedule.

 

COVID-19 Protocols

This year the Jr. Amerks are taking additional precautions to ensure the health and safety of all players and families during tryouts and evaluations. We require all players and spectators to comply with the following procedures:

  • Players may enter the rink 30 minutes prior to their scheduled ice time
  • Only one spectator is allowed to accompany players to the ice session 
  • Players and spectators are required to wear masks upon entering Rochester Ice Center. Players must wear masks in locker rooms, but may remove them prior to getting on the ice
  • Locker rooms will be available, but younger players are encouraged to dress at home as much as is possible
  • Maintain distance from others whenever possible
