There is still time to register for Kyle’s Slap Shot Challenge 3v3 Tournament on Saturday, July 30, at Rochester Ice Center. The tournament is open to all Jr. Amerks players registered for the 2022-23 season. This year’s event includes an all-day outdoor festival with live music, food trucks, used equipment sale, games, and more. Registration closes on Monday, July 25, so don’t miss out!

Kyle’s Slap Shot Challenge Tournament Registration

This 3v3 tournament is a Jr. Amerks fundraiser in support of Kyle’s Slap Shot Challenge to benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital. Registration requires a $30 donation. Players will be assigned to teams based on age and skill level, and will play at least three games throughout the day. They’ll also participate in our Slap Shot Challenge for a chance to win great prizes. Visit our website for tournament rules and details. 

Tentative Game Schedule

The official schedule will be released before the event. The tentative ice times for each age division are listed below:

• 8U (2014 & younger): 9 a.m - 11 a.m.
• 10U (2012 & 2013): 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• 12U (2010 & 2011): 11:20 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• 14U (2008 & 2009): 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• 18U (2007 & older): 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Outdoor Festival and Used Equipment Sale

Join us noon-8 p.m. for an outdoor festival open to the entire community. This includes live music from Tommy Brunett Band, Begging Angels and the M80’s; food trucks; beer tent; dunk tank and bounce house. Visit the silent auction to bid on some outstanding items, like a suite at an upcoming Amerks or Knighthawks game, signed hockey items, PGA tickets and more.

Also plan to visit the Jr. Amerks tent sale to get great deals on gently used equipment. We have skates and equipment of all sizes priced to sell! All proceeds from the tent sale will benefit the Jr. Amerks Sean Shortsleeve Memorial Scholarship Fund.

For those adult league players out there, Rochester Ice Center is holding a Kyle’s Slap Shot Adult 3v3 Fundraising Tournament open to all on Friday, July 29.
